Three Colors: Girl Scouts Workshop
Together, we organized a Fashion Design Workshop for The Girl Scouts. The workshop was help at Parsons the New School for Design. Each Girl Scout partnered with a Parsons student. As a team, they helped each other with drawing and illustrating on the “Fashion Croquis” template created as a creative learning tool. The template showed the proportion of the human body- teaching the girls balance, line, and proportion. On top of the croquis, they could design clothing. Fabric swatches were provided to add pattern to their designs.
The day included, giggles and laughter, amongst the colored pencils and markers. The girls finished off with cupcakes and their drawings to take home.
